WHO WE ARE
Associazione Aura is a non-governmental organisation based in Bassano del Grappa (Italy) which strives to combat:
gendered discrimination
poverty
marginalisation
of migrant and refugee women and girls.
Our little organisation is made up of a group of women who have as core mission to provide support at local and national level to women and girls on the move, as well as migrant and refugee women and girls living in Italy.
WHAT WE DO
- EDUCATION
Women at School Program: Language and civic education courses for migrant and refugee women, so they can learn about their rights and exercise them in their daily lives.
- LEGAL SUPPORT
Access to legal counselling to migrant and refugee women and their children in the area of women’s rights, access to justice and combatting discrimination.
